This sparked her interest in working for a PR agency. In her free time she can usually be encountered in a café with a good book and coffee mug on the table. Or with a racket in hand on the tennis court – if she isn’t too busy ticking off the next travel destination on her bucket list.

Born into a Scottish-Peruvian family in Germany, Melissa has always been passionate about languages, words and the craft of writing. While studying English Literature in Scotland, she also had the opportunity to pursue another passion of hers: philosophy. And while it’s fun to muse about brains in vats, she believes that philosophy can also be a powerful ally. For Melissa, PR is a way to communicate ideas and thus acts as a vehicle for philosophy. It has the power to inspire change, to shake up our perception of reality – and may even make us question our most firmly held beliefs.

Cigdem has been living in the very north of Germany (Hamburg) and the south (Munich). And yet, her true home is and always will be Cologne, Germany’s most colorful and jolly city – in fact, she loves Cologne so much, she is happy to commute from there to Frankfurt every day. Besides Cologne, Cigdem loves to explore new trends and topics that fuel her passion like interior design, minimalism, and typography. When she is not at her desk, she’s probably on the road with her van „Bobby“ (an old Volkswagen T3) – or she’s wielding the brush, working on her hand lettering and sign painting projects.
As a child of the Internet, Juliana’s interest in digital communication was awakened at an early age – and this interest is what brought her from the sleepy North of Hesse to the city of Frankfurt. Here, she trained to be a media designer. But the graphic execution of concepts alone wasn‘t enough for her. Currently studying online communications, her goal is to learn how to turn complex topics into clear communication concepts. She has had the opportunity to get to know various areas of work and to prove herself as a working student in the fields of graphic design, web design and e-commerce. The one area missing so far was PR. But this is changing now. Following her internship at adel & link, she is now looking forward to further exploring this side of communications as a student assistant.
